    Hey Peter:

Thanks again for your hard work on this. TBH my response after this occurred, and after you indicated that you could not duplicate the issue, was to delete the plugin and implement a different solution. I was in a hurry to find a fix since my site was dead, so that was the route I took. I hope you understand.

    Thanks again!

    Greetings Peter:

Thanks for your hard work. For what it’s worth, my site runs PHP 7.4.33 and uses Kadence Virtue theme. The Virtue theme includes an extension that allows me to specify a custom 404 page. I disabled that extension while I was using your plugin, but perhaps there’s a conflict there?

    Good morning

Thanks so much for handling this! Glad to see the update, and still making good use of the plugin!

Thanks again, have a fine day!

Just wanted to say thanks for handling this so quickly. Updated a couple of websites today. Great to have it back!

    Hey Eager Terrier

Just wanted to check-in and thank you for working on this. Hopefully the reinstatement request will be successful. It’s a nice little plugin that does exactly what it is supposed to, and therefore I appreciate it and your work on it very much!

    Hey JRF

Thanks for the quick response. With all respect, it’s not a function of any problems with the plugin working in WP 5.X. To the best of my knowledge, the plugin has not generated any errors on my site.

Rather, my concern is that my WordFence security setup tends to flag plugins that haven’t been updated or otherwise maintained over a certain period of time–WF considers them essentially abandoned, or at least incompatible, and recommends removal. Since the banner for your plugin on WordPress.com reads “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress,” it made me curious about the plugin’s status.

It may be that you can just touch the file as a gesture towards update and that will make everything happy. I wouldn’t ask you to do any significant work, but I did want to check to make sure that the plugin indeed has not been abandoned. Given the promptness of your response, it’s clear the plugin is not abandoned, but it would still be cool to know for sure that the plugin is current and for WordPress.com to reflect that status.

Thanks again for your quick response. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    Mark

I have the same question! I use this plugin and really depend on it for a couple of websites, so it would be great to see it updated so that it does not trigger a WordFence warning.

As well–if anyone has a suggestion for a replacement, please send that suggestion along. Thanks!

    Greetings Lopo:

Just tested it on a 4.7 installation…all looks good, no evidence of any problems. The bulk feature is nice. Thanks so much for attending to this.

    Greetings Lopo:

Thanks for your note. I’d be happy to give the patched version a try. Please go ahead and email me the ZIP or the download URL.

    Best regards

Also, please note that today marked the first time I have tried to clone a post since I updated your plugin. Previous versions of the plugin worked with no problems in the above configuration.

Thanks, let me know if you need anything else.

For what it’s worth I was seeing the same error today. After I hit “Clone” on a simple post, there would be a long delay, followed by a “too many redirects” error. Upon going back into the “All Posts” section, I found 25 copies of the post I attempted to clone. I have simply disabled the plugin for now and am hoping to learn more via this thread. Thanks….

    Hello Nadia:

Just upgraded to 2.1.5 and everything worked fine out of the box.

As an aside, I’m not using any plugin to run galleries–I am simply using the “stock” gallery builder built into WP, so my shortcodes look like this:

    [gallery link="file" masonry="false" caption="true" size="medium" ids="974,973"]

    Thanks.

    Mark
