Everything you suggested was working correctly.

The issue was resolved by using a different authenticator app, in this case, Authy Authenticator instead of Google Authenticator.

All admins. After clicking activate they just don’t get activated. No errors at all.

No, we do not have a custom login page.

2FA was set as required for Subscriber role and not just Optional.

The users have the subscriber role and not any custom or other roles.

The compatibility issue has been corrected in Magic Tooltips v2.0.50. Please upgrade to that version from your WordPress dashboard.
