Seeing that this has not been resolved, I am having the same problem. The entire site looks great but the home page is blown apart.
Creating a new Child Theme does not work. Tried it with the recommended plugin and manually.
Can you advise?

After researching the memory issue I have increased my php memory to 512 and am still having the issue. Please advise.
Figured it out myself so I wanted to come back and update the post.
Turns out it was a conflict within the theme (DIVI) and the full width Google Map built into the theme. Removed it and everything is working perfectly.
