In reply to: [FG Joomla to WordPress] The new version makes the differenceYes, this is only my experience, due the shsef404 generated url.
I cannot write that your script is bad for everyone, I don’t know.
I assume one has to write about experience that personally faces. And this was my thread with my experience.
If you clearly stated what you’ve said, it’s perfect.
Unfortunately I wasn’t so lucky.BTW kerfred is a good and gentle boy. This is clear, and this is a value added to the script.

In reply to: [FG Joomla to WordPress] The new version makes the differenceMy 5 stars went out of my fingers without my control, and I couldn’t change it back.
About what I’ve said, my experience was a nightmare, either with the site, or with the manual remake of the all internal/external links. I’ve used after the import process a tool for WP, search ans replace, so I’ve been able to correct the 35% of the issue.
But with 1000 articles, and 10,000 internal links to correct, and with a customer that paid me in advance because of no time to work….sorry but this was not neither the good tool (the free version is the same), nor the good assistance. It’s my experience. As he stated, if you have some SEO 3rdy part disable it and run the tool.
I say to myself: WHY DON’T YOU WRITE IT IN A READ ME FILE?

In reply to: [FG Joomla to WordPress] The new version makes the differenceIn your case, you are using a SEF plugin for the SEO and you are not using the standard Joomla URLs.
Please, specify for the next customers this particular behaviour. After 300 tests, I’ve gave up and started to correct internal urls manually.
It’s enough disable shsef404 and run the script.
Nothing works still properly, but with 1000 articles and 200.000 internal urls (the function to correct them don’t work) to sections/categories/url believe me, it’s not a joke.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [FG Joomla to WordPress] SEO URL Joomla inherits uncorrect pathsAfter a week, I did it all manually. Wasted money, awful assistance.
BTW thank you for late responseUnfortunately the tags don’t appear upon the editor string.
I’m using the “more” tag with Ads1 instead. Thanks for the prompt answer, Philipze.
The problem wasn’t the plugin (as it works since year perfectly) but the upgrade, that made disappear the text editor bar.Thank you.
Broken plugin, the same error “on line 47”. Uninstalled -renamed – the folder with the plugin. Any help from the coder?

In reply to: [Plugin: All in one SEO pack] 80 MB of error log in log files on server.Do I have to consider unsafe the plugin…?
Please, respond.
Any suggestion highly appreciated.
Mind that I’m talking about server load, and not about a single site.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] w3 cache and google analyticsOk, Fredericktownes.
Message received 😉 What I did is move the google script from the footer (no <body> tag was there, if I’ve checked well) to header.php theme’s file, immediately after the first <body> tag.
Did I understand well (forgive me for my bad english)?
It’s the best cache plugin, btw –
