Thanks for telling me that. I deleted WP SuperCache and now everything is working well again. I shouldn’t need it anyhow since I’m using CloudFlare now.

I appreciate your plugin and am using it on several other sites.

Simple solution!!!

I went to “settings/permalinks” and noticed a custom permalink had been installed. I switched it back to the way I had it before, then went to “users” and deleted everyone who’d registered except myself. I changed my password.

Next I went to PhpMyAdmin in the cpanel to verify that I’m the only user listed for the blog. I did this because I read that someone else with the same problem had a stealth user-admin whose username was a javascript code that hid his name.

So you can see lots of people have had this hack…

The solution was simpler than expected… and I’ve been working on reinstalling in another directory all afternoon! LOL

Deactivating plugins didn’t help. I don’t see how it could be a theme problem. I create my own themes using “classic” and they’re pretty simple, and contain nothing like that extra blurb.

Any other ideas are welcome.
