Re-ran the scan today. This time it came up with details of two redundant files; which I have deleted.
Umm… This posting is listed under Support » Plugin: Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters ».
I’m not sure what Tim was enquiring about: but my interest is in ‘Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters’ rather than Contact Form DB. I have also recently received a ‘no longer supported’ warning about ‘Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters’ from WordFence. Is there a crossed thread somewhere?
I see this has been flagged as ‘Resolved.’ What was the resolution, please, as I have the same problem? I am using Elementor 1.7.11 (not the Pro version – is that necessary?) with Generate Press theme. I have a number of templates in the library, and just tried creating a new one, thinking that maybe the others had been created before this feature was available. I’ve also tried switching between list and excerpt views: But there isn’t even a column for shortcodes.

Apparently, Shortcode Exec PHP is no longer supported; so you’ll need to look for an alternative plugin to handle your shortcodes. You could try ‘Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters,’ which has good reviews and appears to be able to import and run most Shortcode Exec PHP shortcodes.I’ve now managed to work around my problem by using the Advanced Sidebar Menu plugin to insert a widget with comparable functionality in place of my ‘Context Menu’ shortcode. I’m de-installing Shortcode Exec PHP, but retaining Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters for possible future use; so would still be interested if anyone can offer any insight as to what may have caused the above incompatibility and how to fix it.
Sorry – I initially used b-quote instead of code tags. The code shown above is now correct: but the problem is as previously described.
