This is what worked for me:
1: add to PayPal Standard: enable the Smart Button Locations and add Classic Checkout and Block Checkout
2: Leave Advanced Card Processing enabled
3: Delete cache and test in incognito modeThank you so much – really appreciate the quick fix!
After clearing/deleting cache, all’s well. Thnx again.
Thank you Krystian – that works. For others, keep in mind you have still have to disable the Advanced Card Processing, but you will get a functioning Debit/Credit option from the Standard PayPal payment option.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Double password loginSorry – rebuilt a new page thinking that might be the issue, but didn’t help. I had previously removed all caching plugins – it did have wp-super cache but it’s removed. I have this site hosted on my dedicated rack at Pair.com. I tried installing your plugin on a different site on same server, no problems. Just to give you some history: the default password protection stopped working – it just produced a white page. I tried swopping out themes, deactivating plugins, etc. No help. I’ve seen others on search having same issue, with different themes and conriguration (the default password protection producing white page). But no answers to it. I’m guessing the double login using your plugin is related. Send me a private email if you’d like dashboard access.

works great – many thanks!
Yes, exactly. Seems v3.8.5 is the newest “free” version. When I update v3.8.5 it updates to the pro version v4.0.4 and I can no longer use it without getting license/paying. Additionally, the updated plugin, v4.0.4 has SVG files named like “add – 1.svg” – the blank spaces in the name conflicts with my server’s WordPress OS upgrades, hence not really interested in using and paying for the pro version.
