Update: it did work.
Now I am looking to only include this link, if something is put in the custom field. This din’t work, but I am not sure how to refer to the custom attributes:
{has_custom}<a href="#_ATT{custom}"> Link text </a>{/has_custom}

Hi @angelo_nwl Thanks for getting bag to me. I figured that the display name in a calendar did not have any thing to do with link tags so I haven’t tried that.
I will attach a picture of a calendar.

Hi @duisterdenhaag Thank you so much for your answer. It seems to be just the thing I am looking for. I followed your excellent tutorial, but it doesn’t seem to work. So here comes maybe the stupid question (since I don’t have much experience editing functions.php): I added the added the code just at the end of all other code in the functions.php file. Should it be placed somewhere else specificly?
