In reply to: [In-feed ads for Google AdSense] BuddyPress CompatibilityHi Thomas,
Totally understandable, these things are somewhat complicated.
Thank you for all your help, it’s quite clear now. Once my website qualifies for AdSense, I’ll have an in-depth look at Advanced Ads Pro and if I have any pre-purchase questions I’ll let you know.
Have a nice day.

In reply to: [In-feed ads for Google AdSense] BuddyPress CompatibilityHi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’m a bit confused though. If I understand correctly, you’re saying that with Advanced Ads Pro it is possible to place ads in the activity stream of BuddyPress, even though it may not be allowed?
I already knew about the Advanced Ads Pro plugin and I am considering it, but my main concern is if I’ll be able to place ads in the activity stream between posts and I’m not sure if that’s possible. Could you clarify please?
Thank you,

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] BuddyPress CompatibilityI understand.
Thank you for your answer.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Spam Destroyer] BuddyPress CompatibilityNo surprise there. After working for some months with BuddyPress, if anything I’ve realised that it is a very difficult plugin in general. For several plugins I’ve had to check if they are BuddyPress compatible.
I’m sure it’d be great if you did it, but you understand that I didn’t check every single anti-spam plugin. There’s a chance that there is one out there which works with BuddyPress and I missed it, although I doubt it. Anyhow I appreciate a lot the work you guys do providing free plugins.

In reply to: [LH Zero Spam] BuddyPress comments spamYes, I guess that makes sense. Many thanks for the explanation.

In reply to: [Spam Destroyer] BuddyPress CompatibilityOK Ryan, I understand. I guess that BuddyPress is difficult for anti-spam plugins, because I’ve found very few that claim to work with it (and all of those are paid ones).
Thank you very much for elaborating.

In reply to: [Spam Destroyer] BuddyPress CompatibilityThanks for the quick reply. So are you saying that right now it won’t work for comment spam? Or it might work and I could test it and see?

In reply to: [Stop Spammers Classic] BuddyPress CompatibilityAll right, I might give it a go. Thanks for replying so quickly.
Have a nice day.Hello,
I had to abandon multisite eventually, so it’s not a problem for me anymore. But judging by the several issues that I had with the multisite-BuddyPress combination, probably it was a conflict with one of my plugins. It happened on two occasions as I said, but I’m thinking that both times I had pretty much the same plugins, so it makes sense. Would you like me to send you a list of the plugins I had installed, so that you can try to reproduce the issue? If yes, let me know if you want me to send it here or to https://www.wordplus.org/contact/.
Thanks for getting back to me

In reply to: [OceanWP] Different layout style per pageEventually I managed to resolve this and it was pretty simple. It’s not a theme issue, it’s just a setting in Elementor. In the Page Attributes dropdown, changing the template from Default to Elementor Full Width does the trick, as this overrides the boxed/separate layout and creates a full width page to work with. I’m marking this as resolved.
Thanks for all your help.

In reply to: [OceanWP] Different layout style per pageHi, thanks for replying so fast.
I’ll do it right away.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] Different layout style per pageI know you didn’t. I was desperate and decided to try multisite before you told me that it can be done per page. It was a mistake after all and I uninstalled multisite.
Now I have selected separate layout as you told me. Is it OK to send you the homepage url via email, because I’m not allowed to post it here and I don’t see an option to send it privately? If yes, should I send it to https://oceanwp.org/support/?Hi @prashantvatsh,
Well, I know it is possible to include the functionality if they decided to; almost anything is possible to be programmed. When asking if it is possible, obviously I meant as the plugin is right now, not after customisations.
Of course not everyone wants to categorize all groups, so I think it would be best if this functionality was added as a choice. I will contact the authors directly about it as you suggested, to see if anything can be done. I’ve seen them answer here on other occasions, so I thought it better to post my question here in case others were interested too. Thanks for your help

In reply to: [OceanWP] Different layout style per pageHi,
Sorry for the delayed answer, I’m swamped and I missed the email so I just saw your answer. That is correct. Just to be exact, I want the Wide layout for the homepage and for the footer menu pages (terms, support etc), and the Boxed layout for all the other pages (BuddyPress pages).
For now I’ve solved the problem, because I reverted to multisite, but I’m facing several other issues and conflicts. So I might have to abandon multisite eventually. If that happens, can the different layout per page be accomplished?
Thank you very much for your help!
