I checked the user roles and they are all setup for auto approval and the default new user role is member.
The default role for a new user in WP is subscriber. I ran an AD sync this morning and 2 new users were added and 5 were disabled. Now, in my all user list is see that there are a total of 538 users but only 535 users are in the directoy. The users that were just added have the subscriber role and is showing they have been assigned the member role for the Ultimate Member plugin but they are not showing up. Also, the disabled users are still showing in the list.
I was looking for the setting but I am having trouble finding it in the sea of settings in wordpress :). Based on what I have seen, new subscribers are added as members while wp admins are added as admins. If you wouldn’t mind pointing me to where that setting is at, I can confirm. Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. I was able to approve them all manually but I really don’t want to have to do this each and every time someone is hired or let go with the company. Once they were approved, they showed up. There are no duplicates in the list.
