Not sure if this will help you, but after a lot of testing for plugin conflict it looks like it was a cache issue with the plugin and my theme. I created a new checkout page with the shortcode, selected the new one in woo settings, then disabled all plugins and turned each one on one by one. This seemed to clear any cache problems and fixed the issue (so far!). It might be worth flushing any cache on your caching plugin and try what I did, maybe it will solve your problem? Hope that helps! (I know how frustrating this can be!!)

Thank you so much for coming back to me. After much troubleshooting and getting in touch with Divi, it appears it’s a bug they are aware of (would have been nice to be informed! Just wasted hours!!!!). Anyway, just wanted to post that here in case someone else is experiencing the same problem.

Thanks for your response. I have disabled security and caching services and I still unfortunately cannot delete the key (I use Cloudways so I have a fair amount of control over the server settings etc). Each time I am on the page it keeps asking to save changes even though I’ve done nothing, it’s like the key was pre-inputted and now it’s asking to save. When I save, it doesn’t recognise the save, it just keeps asking if I’m sure I want to leave the page before saving.

Regarding the checkout message problem, I only use the Paypal plugin (due to my country’s restrictions), so the options are Paypal or debit/credit card, but both are through paypal gateway. And it happens when you choose either option.

It’s weird this glitch/backend woocommerce problem didn’t replicate or copy over with the staging site. Is there anything else you can think of that I can try please? Thank you!
