    Hi there,

    You could add some custom CSS that hides the popup when the Visual Builder is active. For example, the CSS class et-fb-top-html gets added to the page when the visual builder is active.

    So CSS like this should work:

    .et-fb-root-ancestor .hide-popup-visual-builder {
    display: none !important;
    }

    We haven’t tested this, but it should work in theory. Just add the CSS class hide-popup-visual-builder to the CSS class field of the popup section. And add the custom CSS above to the custom CSS box in Divi Theme Options.

    Hi Jorge,

    I looked at your page, and I’m not seeing a section in the HTML with the an ID of “pop”. When you enable the popup and add the popup ID, it should add it as a CSS ID to that section on your page. And I’m not seeing that in the HTML. Can you double check you have the section enabled with the Popup ID of “pop” (so it matches your trigger link)?

    If that is enabled properly with the correct Popup ID, then there’s something that’s blocking the plugin from working properly. I know you mentioned that you disabled all other plugins to test for conflicts. Is there anything else running in your set up that could block it from working properly? For example, any performance plugins, or server level performance enhancements?

    Hi there,

    Apologies for the delay. Popups for Divi (free) doesn’t include the ability to trigger the popup with a URL trigger. It’s available in the premium version though (Divi Areas Pro). https://divimode.com/divi-areas-pro/

    Hi there,

    Does this issue happen without Popups for Divi as well, or only when it’s being used in the popup? Secondly, can you send a link for us to see the issue? Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Apologies that we missed this. If you still need help, please re-open this ticket and we’ll be happy to take a look! It looks like the link you sent no longer has a popup.

    Hi there, you can use this tutorial to customize the close button 🙂

    Hi there, our sincere apologies for the extremely delayed response on this ticket. Unfortunately there isn’t a workaround for this with the free version of the plugin. Our Pro version has a way of solving this with a feature though if that interests you.

    Hi there, we’re so sorry for the delayed response on this ticket. Unfortunately there isn’t really a workaround with this plugin due to the way that the plugin renders the popups from the triggers. It simply won’t work without changing core functionality. Our Pro version has a feature to get around this limitation though if you’re interested in solving this.

    Hi there, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We missed this ticket. Were you able to get this resolved. If not, please respond and re-open this ticket, and we can assist further. Thank you!

    Hi there, sorry for the delay in our response here. Our “show popup on page load” code is not an official feature of this plugin. It’s a workaround snippet, but it’s not something we can guarantee that will work. There’s a lot of things that can stop custom code from working properly on a site. In the premium version of our plugin (Divi Areas Pro) we have the feature built in to show the popup on page load. It’s designed to do that ‘out of the box’ without any custom code needed.

    Hi Frankeck,

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I’m not aware of our plugin independently calling Google Fonts. Our plugin is integrated into the Divi Builder, and does not have any font selection of its own. Are you sure it’s our plugin that is doing this?

    (we’re closing this ticket but please re-open if further assistance is needed)

    Hi there,

    We are actively rebuilding our plugin(s) for Divi 5. Rest assured that Popups for Divi will be 100% compatible with Divi 5. Keep in mind that Divi 5 is still in Alpha. It still needs to move to the Beta phase, and then the full release.

    Hi Doug,

    ‘Exit Intent’ in general does not work on mobile. That’s not a limitation to our plugin, but a limitation with the technology behind ‘Exit Intent’ popups. Exit Intent works by tracking the mouse movement, but there’s no mouse to track on a mobile device.

    You can definitely create a small popup with our plugin. You have full control over the size of the popup using Divi’s controls. You just need to change the width and height of the Section in the Design tab of the Section that you’ve made into a Popup. We have free demo layouts that you can download and install that will give you smaller sized popups. You can get them here: https://divimode.com/divi-popup/

    Will you consider changing your review based on the above information? We provide this Popup plugin 100% for free, and negative reviews can prevent others from finding this free plugin.

    Hi there, it looks like the new popups are working on our end. Did you change anything to get it to work?
