Don’t worry about mining; we work with the EOS.IO blockchain, which means that you don’t have to mine anything.
You can shut your wallet down and only turn it on when you need to timestamp content on your site and, more important, EOS.IO and your wallets are NOT consuming an enormous amount of power / resources; WordProof is very friendly for the environment.
