I have tried the before html, and that worked.

I am trying to change the headings of events when the event is opened.

The website is safe, url is zany-whistle.localsite.io

username is change, password is succinct

The page of interest is “Events and Services”

The event (not real) i have been playing with is “Contemporary Jazz”

No again, that did not work.I have tried in skeleton mode and in standard mode. the following works:

.tribe-events-pg-template .tribe-events-before-html h1{
color:#ffff00;
}

with or without !important.

Anything past that (see a bit of the source) seems to be untouchable, even though it at the same level as the “before-html”one. one would expect .tribe-events-pg-template .tribe-events-single-event-title to work, it does not nor adding the intermediate classes.

I think I have found something of a clue to the problem. I looked at the html of a page without any shortcuts. It has 3 parts.
1. A lot of script and header information
2. the edited page content, in <div class=”entry-content”>
3. a tail of info, ending, of course in </body></html>

In the failing page, all the code after <div class=”entry-content”> has disappeared. It is a miracle that the header shows. but obvious why the edited code does not show. It just isn’t there.

Hope this helps. I need to get this working.

I have tried all of the debugging thoughts that I have had. Created a new page, put on it only a couple of text lines surrounding a shortcut. Failied.
Killed the shortcut, works fine.

thesea and I need urgent help. Have you found a connection with updating gallery?
