Jonathan – couldn’t tell you to be honest but we don’t have a fresh WP install nor a fresh WC install, not to mention it’s impossible without investing time to know if its a specific setting in FF or WC that causes it. I’d be happy to help diagnose at my hourly rate. TBH, we wouldn’t have discovered the workaround/cause if a colleague hadn’t asked me if we used Formidable Forms and then pointed that out as the culprit – which I didn’t believe at first. We deactivated FF and voila, it works fine. We only do image uploads twice a year so not a big problem for us but as multiple people have been able to replicate it, I thought it would be prudent to let you know since plugins that break other completely unrelated plugins is not a good look.
Yeah, that’s the one I have. Not really looking for support. Just reporting the bug. We know the workaround, which is to deactivate FF when we upload new products/images.
Yikes, OK. I guess we won’t be able to use this plugin. Thanks for the response.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Doesn’t Work. Use a 3rd Party Plugin InsteadWhat specifically in their changelog indicates this specific issue was fixed?
I don’t use your plugin since I found one that did the same thing w/out the Object Cache Pro problems, but I’ll remove my review if I can verify it fixed the issue.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Doesn’t Work. Use a 3rd Party Plugin InsteadSorry, but I won’t be changing the review because two competing plugins with the exact same redirect-back-to-site screen as yours work just fine with Object Cache Pro active. If Object Cache was interfering with this mechanism, none of them would work.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Doesn’t Work. Use a 3rd Party Plugin InsteadHi, that would mean your plugin is incompatible with Object Cache Pro, which is the MU plugin installed on our server. We would not be willing to disable that for it to work, since we found an alternative that works fine with it enabled. But hopefully you can work to make your plugin compatible, knowing what the culprit is.

In reply to: [WP STAGING - WordPress Backup, Restore & Migration] NOT a Staging Plugin.Hello,
Your support rep was adamant that I would not get a refund so you may wish to address that since it did happen. I didn’t claim no refund was coming for nothing.
The plugin does not do proper staging. Whatever your limitations are, those are the facts. Other staging software does do this. Please don’t make it about me – my needs are not specific….they are the same needs as any other dev looking for actual staging, where only changes are pushed to the live site.
My issue with your plugin and the reason this review was posted was not just the plugin not doing what a staging plugin should do, but your workarounds were not accurate either, completely missing the fact that Featured images won’t be attached to posts when exported/imported as you instruct. An addtl plugin called Export Media with Selected Content is needed. So…..in summary, if either the plugin worked as expected OR the workaround was accurate and included all steps for a proper push, this review would not be here.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Zero Spam] Doesn’t Match Up to AkismetI’ve revised my review. I hadn’t revised it yet because I was waiting for the plugin to totally get it right. It’s still not good on one of our sites, which is strange as they all use the same theme, same forms style, and same version of this plugin.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Zero Spam] Doesn’t Match Up to AkismetI wanted to chime in quick to let y’all know we will not be deploying a dev version of this. After the first trial of using this plugin nearly cost us our best client, we aren’t willing to take the risk deploying any test versions, especially as Akismet has gotten back to a familiar accuracy rate. We do currently have the existing version (1.0.7) of your plugin installed on 3 client sites with very low email volume and the accuracy rate is about 92% over the past month out of 26 messages, which is below the threshold we’d accept.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Zero Spam] Doesn’t Match Up to AkismetThis isn’t a production release yet with the fix?

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Zero Spam] Doesn’t Match Up to AkismetHi – we do have two sites that we kept your plugin on that don’t get a ton of form submissions. We are evaluating those sites and if it looks good, we’ll expand it to a higher volume site. If that works out I will certainly update my review to reflect the latest version.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Player no longer shows for videos after 2.5.xWe had to switch to a different plugin. As I’m sure you can understand, having a non-working player even for a day is not workable. But I’m glad you fixed this.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Zero Spam] Doesn’t Match Up to AkismetWe have not tried it again. We’ve since settled on a simple question at the end of the forms “What letter does the last day of the week begin with?” which has had a 100% spam elimination rate and a 100% no-false-positives rate.
We use the Pro theme if it helps you figure it out.
This was fixed after updating Real Simple SSL plugin – despite the error still occurring after I disabled every plugin. Super weird.
