In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke! We purchased the premium version, can you please let us know if it works with Nextend or how we can resolve to make sure FB users stay logged in our app? We are getting dinged pretty hard in our reviews of our app because people can’t stay logged in via FB.
Just to review, our theme is mylistingtheme.com – for some reason their social login solution does not keep people logged in (even with your plugin). Works fine for email, just not FB.
We are using NextEnd for apple login and could maybe switch our social login to FB. Does your plugin work with Nextend?
If not, what works with your plugin for persistent login via fb? If we switch our social login to woocommerce – will it affect all our current FB users? i.e. would they have to login again?
@ideasmakemarket – thanks so much for this insight!
So just to confirm, One Signal saw these new youzify/buddy press pw/login pages and it triggered a push notification to send this new page to each of my one signal subscribers. So turn off One Signal notifications for new pages created. Is that right?
What’s weird is I’ve never encountered this on our prod site and we create new pages all the time and no push notifications were ever sent. This did happen on the staging site which is just a clone of prod site on different server.
Thanks so much!
ChrisEdit: One thing I notice is that Login and Password Reset pages were created at the exact time before the push campaign (So this confirms your thoughts). Also, all my other pages were made with elementor and these weren’t which maybe is why the plugin picked them up and not the others.
For anyone reading this! This is likely due to One Signal WP plugin and not youzify directly. MAKE SURE your page notifications are turned off in One Signal plugin because youzify will create new pages.

@ideasmakemarket – do you have any ideas why it would send the push notification to “Login” and “Password Reset”? This made me (and our users!) think it was a hack. The push notifications went directly to the youzify login screen – not my them registration. Thanks for the tip on webpushr.
Hello @kainelabsteam – Okay that is so kind! Really appreciate the offer. Our theme is mylisting (mylistingtheme.com). We have no problems purchasing and supporting you and your great work! Just want to clarify a few questions:
1/ We want to use the Mylisting profile pics for now and into the future. Will this fix work ongoing?
2/ We are currently on a staging site – will you be able to provide the file that we can upload to prod on our child theme?Let me know and we will purchase!
Thank you!
Chris@ideasmakemarket – thanks for this insight. Did you experience a similar problem? I just want to make sure that it wasn’t a hack and that it won’t happen again when I push my youzify changes to prod.
Thanks!
ChrisAlos, I have found this plugin that seems to be able to use shortcodes to reference the profile photo: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-shortcodes-extra/
Can I use these shortcodes on Youzify profile page? If so, how?
Thank you so much!

Hello! I want to use the profile photo uploaded by users on my theme and use this as the Youzify profile photo. When people register on my site through my theme they can upload a profile photo. My theme populates the gravatar field.
Here’s what I see in WP-admin: https://imgur.com/a/27gLiSw
It is not WordPress Gravatar on gravatar.com, it is just a profile photo they upload to my site and I believe my theme uses in gravatar field. Note: my theme also uses woocommerce.
We’d like to use the photo that user uploads in wp-admin as the profile photo in youzify.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke! Just checking in. Do you know if your premium version will work with NextEnd Social Login? https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextend-facebook-connect/
We’re trying to get persistent login to work for FB users and not sure if we want to buy Woocommerce social login.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke! We got it to work! We found a rougue snippet of code on our child theme that was conflicting.
So now, it works for our email / pw users, but doesn’t work for our FB login users. We use a theme called http://www.mylistingtheme.com and they offer social login via fb.
Would we be able to use your plugin pro version to work with our site?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke!
I just cloned my site and turned off all plugins except for those required to run the theme – elementor, elementor pro, woocommerce.
I tried logging in on both incognito browser and on regular browser. Both times they still said ‘session’.
I’m on cloudways hosting – using Vultr – with regular VPS with Nginx, Apache, PHP, MySQL. Not sure if there are some server side settings I should try?
Do you have any more ideas to trouble shoot? Really would love to get your plugin working for us! It will be a dream if we can!
Thanks!

In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke, I was able to figure out how to check the cookies:
1/The cookie expiration says ‘session’ not a date like the other cookies. Here is a photo: https://imgur.com/a/KNhohDn
2/ For cacheing plugins I have wp-rocket and perfmatters. I turned both those off and tested and saw the same ‘session’ for max time for that cookie.
Any thoughts on what to do next?
Thank you so much!

In reply to: [Persistent Login] Persistent Cookie not WorkingHi Luke! Thanks for getting back to us! Can you let us know how to check for the cookie? Do you mean in Chrome browser settings / privacy? Then see all cookies? Thanks!

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Mobile Notifications – Not WorkingI think I found the issue – Chrome notifications were off on my device! But this is still creates a weird user experience because we accepted the opt-in. User would expect that opt-in would mean that they can get notifications. Is there any way to fix this?
Also, we didn’t see any notifications for welcome message on desktop or mobile. Can you help with that?

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] Mobile Notifications – Not WorkingHello! Thanks for writing back. We just tested your demo site and did not receive any notifications. Any guidance as to why?
Steps to reproduce:
– We saw the opt-in prompt and accepted.
– When we clicked on bell it said subscribed.
– We tried each of the demo notifications.Actual: Didn’t see any of the notifications.
Expected: See notifications.
