I don’t have a license key so I can’t post to that support area.
But I fixed my problem by removing Soliloquy and installing MetaSlider. With MetaSlider GTMetrix gives the site an A. Testing with Soliloquy (deactivating Metaslider) site gets a C at best. I tested both ways several times.
I’ll stick with MetaSlider.

Actually, I’d like to use my own custom CSS so I clicked the radio button on the settings page for “No, I’ll use a custom CSS”
I copied the default CSS and pasted at the end of my style.css file, but they are not showing up.

That’s the way the slider looks if there is no CSS. How can I get it to see my CSS in style.css?

Yes, the error only occurs when you ‘view’ the site from the Dashboard. Not when you go directly to the site.
I have recreated the error message in a test site:

I figure it out!
In Events > Setting > Advanced Settings, there is a check box “Turn this blog in an events-only platform“
In my attempt to get rid of the ‘posted by’ text (still haven’t figure that out), I clicked that but I guess I didn’t notice that the whole dang dashboard got replaced!
There oughta be a little more info on that thing, imho.

I cannot figure out what is causing the huge space between the titles and the form boxes. I’ve taken out the p tags and messed with the css. I’ve adjusted everything available in Firebug but I cannot find the culprit. I can’t believe that one would have to create a table to get the spacing right here.
Is there any other contact form that folks recommend?
