In reply to: [Lazy Embed] Make default unmutedHi @mchcs
Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately the method used for lazy loading the embeds requires the video be muted by default.
We will look in to releasing a version of the plugin that allows for opting in to a javascript based approach which would allow for the video to not be muted.

In reply to: [Lazy Embed] The best plugin.Hi @dyneezinha
Thanks for the ticket. The issue has been fixed in release 1.6.3 which should be available for you now 🙂
Turns out the maxresdefault thumbnail from youtube does not always exist. There are numerous reasons why this can occur, but most commonly, its because Youtube could not generate a thumbnail large enough from the video.
If a thumbnail was not generated by youtube (like in your case), I have implemented a piece of code that will now show the hqdefault thumbnail (this is what was used previously).

In reply to: [Lazy Embed] Just works! Much leaner YouTube and Vimeo embeds.Hi Bjarne
Thanks for the great review. We take pride in the quality of the code we release, and I am thankful you took the time to review it in the way you did.
Whilst the plugin doesn’t have an options screen with settings for the facade presentation, we have filters that allow for configuring the image, the play button, or the entire facade content.
We are looking in to bringing some no-code flexibility to the plugin, but at its core, we want it to remain a plugin that can be enabled and disabled without leaving anything behind.
