So I whitelisted that URL with sucuri and it took a little time (clearing cache too) and the page is working!
I did just turn on debugging to the browser and didn’t notice anything. I actually never used that so I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for, but I changed some broadcasting settings on a post and re-updated and never saw anything. So that may still be getting blocked. Though, it did save to the file.
In case someone finds this in the future – go check your firewall whitelisted URLs!

I bet that’s it. I just added it to the whitelist and it’s not working yet, but I’m tinkering with it. If the php file existing in the plugin folder is all I need to make this work, then it has to be a Sucuri setting.Forum: Plugins

This article confirms site admins can’t edit users. There’s a comment on this article that suggests a fix, but it’s very old and I’m trying to find out the best option to allow site admins to edit users

If Yoast needs to troubleshoot, it only happened on 1 of 10 sites I have Yoast on. I have no idea why it was just an issue with this one.
I’m trying the rollback plugin idea too, but even with 3.03 version installed it’s still a little bit laggy, versus when I disable it completely and it’s amazingly responsive.
Is there any disadvantage to just deactivating Yoast while working in the site, and then turning it back on?
Regardless, I’m just happy to finally have an answer.
Was this ever resolved? I’m curious, I’m locked out too.
I’ve been having this same issue. I just bought the plugin and got locked out after enabling a bunch of the standard features. I then tried a cleaner install on another site, and it happened again.
It seemed to happen when I did the change of the admin URL – did you do that as well?
I have a ticket in to support, I’ll see how it goes. Hopefully if you figure out how to get back in, can you please update the thread?

Instead I just replaced the company.png with a watermark of our icon. It’s just easier.
