In reply to: Plugin QuestionsForum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Plugin QuestionsI also removed the following:
- Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection – Jetpack seems to do this job
Jetpack integrates with Akismet, but it does not have any anti-spam features itself.
Sorry I was thinking of the Protect feature of Jetpack.

In reply to: Plugin Questions@marcelotpcruz Hello as well.
Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection – This was setup to prevent SPAM and other malicious attacks
https://wordpress.org/plugins/akismet/All in One SEO – Optimize SEO
https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/Business Contact Widget – This was used to put a contact details in
https://wordpress.org/plugins/Business-Contact-Widget/Chaty – This was used to create a option to have a Facebook Messenger Icon
https://wordpress.org/plugins/chaty/GTranslate – Translator
https://wordpress.org/plugins/GTranslate/ImageMagick Engine – I am not certain on this one, I think it was used to resize pictures reading by the descrption
https://wordpress.org/plugins/imageMagick-engine/Jetpack – Mostly to monitor website website performance, downtime alerts
https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/Jetpack Boost – No idea really as I think this was installed when Jetpack was installed.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack-boost/Loginizer – Login Security
https://wordpress.org/plugins/Loginizer/Simple History – Monitor changes on the site via a Log
https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-history/Site Kit by Google – Installed with Google Analytics which is no longer used
https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-site-kit/W3 Total Cache – Installed for Caching website to help load faster
https://wordpress.org/plugins/W3-Total-Cache/
You can remove this one, since you have Jetpack boost:
https://jetpack.com/blog/finding-the-best-wordpress-speed-plugin-6-plugins-and-6000-real-websites-tested/Widget Importer & Exporter – I think this was used to upload widgets to the site. It has not been used in some time it looks like
https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/
You can remove this one, although it just adds few load on plugin page and when using it.I had to keep W3 Total Cache. I looked at Jetpack Boost and there was not premium subscription for it. I actually ended up removing Jetpack Boost.
I also removed the following:
- Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection – Jetpack seems to do this job
- ImageMagick Engine – Didnt need it
- Jetpack Boost – No Subscription Active
- Loginizer – Jetpack seems to do this job also
- Widget Importer & Exporter – This has not been used in some time. If needed it can be installed again and used as needed.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Website Text Issue (Not Wrapping Correctly)I don’t have that plug-in for my site. The only thing I have that is close is “Site Health” but that I believe is built into the site. I will take a look at this. Thanks for that info.
Thanks for that information. This issue just started happening by itself. I am unsure if the exact start date but I am assuming it was caused by some type of update. I will reach out to that group and see.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Poseidon] WP Poseidon Theme vs. DiviI did build this site maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Overall it might be outdated by today standards.
There is no actual link to my Facebook site on the page, the only method to find it is the Facebook Messenger option that comes up when the page loads on the bottom right.
I have not done any direct mailing. For myself, I typically find most of my businesses that I use via Google. When I get mail like that, typically I consider it junk mail and throw it away.

In reply to: [Poseidon] WP Poseidon Theme vs. DiviThanks for that insight. It is an option to move over to DIVI but I have not looked all the way into it.
I am using All in One SEO (AIOSEO) the plugin from WP. It is setup decently I would say but probably not maximized for top performance.
I do use Facebook for advertising locally in Texas as well as Google Ad’s. Most of my advertising is word of mouth however. That is more or less why I am looking to advertise and get the company out there via technology more now.
