In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Support Too SlowHi Waren,
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve checked in our system and there have been several interactions between you and my colleague on Friday, and your most recent response indicated the issue had been resolved.
Just to clear things up, we do support our customers and reply to tickets on Fridays as well.
We genuinely care about providing timely and helpful support, and we’re always working to improve the experience. We’d appreciate it if you could take the full interaction into account when evaluating your experience with us — especially since we were able to resolve the issue you were facing.

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Flag shapeHello,
You can achieve this by adding a few lines of custom CSS:
elementor-286 .elementor-element.elementor-element-2339499 .cpel-switcher__flag img {
border-radius: 50% !important;
height: 18px !important;
width: 18px !important;
}Thank you for your kind words. Happy to hear you find TranslatePress easy to use and it worked right of the bat for you. That’s exactly the purpose we had in mind when building it.
Hi Kelvin, I’ve just replied to your ticket. We can continue the conversation there if anything is unclear.
I’ll mark this support topic as closed.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Very happy with this plugin!Thank you Tom for your kind words!
The truth is this profile was created on the exact same day the review was left, it only left this 1 star review, that doesn’t give any details on what didn’t work and there are no opened tickets on the support forums either. It’s suspicious, to say the least, and not helpful at all for other users interested in learning more about this plugin.
We’re always happy to help and very receptive to feedback (especially things that can be improved), but there’s not much we can do in this case.
P.S. It’s still not too late to offer any type of feedback 🙂
Hello,
All translations (posts, pages etc.) are saved in your database and won’t be lost in case you decide to change theme or page builder. So you won’t need to translate anything again.
It would be highly appreciated if you could update your review grade. If you have any other questions feel free to ask in our support forum and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Incomplete, buggy and uglyWe would be more than happy to assist you if you could open a support ticket and let us know exactly what didn’t work. We’re very receptive to constructive feedback and always looking to improve the product.
Leaving a negative comment and calling the plugin “ugly” without giving any context is not helpful at all and a great disservice to all the time and resources we spend to maintain, update and support this plugin that is free to use.
Looking forward to your ticket with detailed feedback and we’ll assist you. I also hope you’ll reconsider giving the plugin a failing grade, which should be reserved for plugins with no support, unresolved bugs, or not following WordPress standards – which is definitely not the case for TranslatePress.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Soo many error and bugs!Hi @codenear,
Looks like your issue has been solved by my colleague here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-when-following-a-link-404/
Can you confirm everything is working as expected? If this is the case, updating your review of the plugin would be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Hi @offgood,
Noticed you left 1 star reviews on all of our plugins, without ever stating a concrete issue you had with any product, nor opening a support thread, and did this with a newly created wp.org account (with no other activity). This looks a bit strange.
You’re also mentioning the premium version in your message, but reviewing the free one.However, if you actually used any of our products and struggled, I’m sorry you had a bad experience and would appreciate any detailed feedback as well as giving us a chance to assist you.
Best,
Hi @netefreeman,
Could you please point us in the right direction here and give us more details as to what exactly is not working?Did you open a ticket on the free version forum before leaving the review because we couldn’t find anything related to what you’re mentioning?
The only somehow similar topic we found was this one: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/links-spacing-issues-in-translated-strings/, but that issue has been fixed 10 months ago.
Instead of giving the plugin a failing grade, would be great if you’d allow us to properly identify the problem and try to fix it by opening a support thread.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] UselessHi,
First of all thank you for your structured and detailed feedback. Please find my answer to each point below:
1. This depends on personal preference and your preferred translation process. If you have the text translated somewhere in a document and want to copy/paste it in a page, what you’re saying is valid.
If however you’re translating sentence by sentence (based on the original text, using the visual translation editor) then most users find it really intuitive to do it this way – as you see exactly what you’re translating.
One option would be to activate automatic translation and only manually change sentences or words that seem off. This should save a lot of time.
2. This is true and it’s already on our development list to fix. Small text changes won’t mean the loss of translation in a future update.
3. This looks like a compatibility issue with the mentioned plugin. We’ve added it to our issues list and we’ll look into fixing it.
4. If you’re looking to change the default language AFTER you’ve already translated your site, that is true since translations are directional. You’ll need to change all the content you’ve written to the new language and then translate again. Enabling automatic translation can help here as well.We understand that this might not be a perfect fit for every project/website and thank you once again for your feedback. We’re actively acting on user feedback to improve the product. However, calling it “useless”, when it powers 200K+ websites, is a bit too much if you ask me.
Hi @nortom, the issues with PHP 8 were fixed in a couple of days, as of June 14th. Did you update to the latest version and still encountered them?
Besides this, you need to navigate to a certain private page, and under Discussion make sure to check “Allow comments”.
@danicasati you can still use the “Generate pages for existing users” button and if all the other users already have pages, it will generate just the one you accidentally deleted. It won’t duplicate the others.
Hope this helps.
