Zotpress – Increase maxtags

    Zotpress offers a maximum of 100 tags to choose from in the dropdown box. The maxtags=”150″ option set in the shortcode has no effect.

    We have assigned 130 tags in our Zotero database and they should also be offered to the requesters on our website https://tunnel.cms.gggs.ch/zotero-bibliothek/bibliografie-tags-suchen/.

    The shortcode is:
    [zotpressLib userid=”4594629″ type=”dropdown” maxtags=”150″ searchby=”tags” sortby=”author” order=”desc” download=”yes” target=”new” maxperpage=”10″ showimage=”no” showtags=”no” note=”yes”]

    Where can I change the setting, who can help me?

    In addition, the displayed tag counter ‘tag-name(count)’ does not always match the number of publications that are tagged. However, the publications are displayed correctly.

    …\zotpress\lib\shortcode\shortcode.php, line 488 the number 100
    …\zotpress\lib\shortcode\shortcode.request.php, line 77 the number 100
    replaced by 200 in each case.
    Conclusion: ineffective, there is still only a maximum of 100 tags to choose from !
    where should I look next???

    The reason for limiting the tags to 100 lies in the Zotero API:
    https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/web_api/v3/basics#sorting_and_pagination_parameters

    The error of the tag counter “tag-name(count)” not always being displayed correctly remains.
