That’s impossible though because its a single wordpress install. The multiple domains are managed by wpml, one for each language

So, when you install this plugin in your main domain now, what happens? Have you tried it?

yes, I have. It installs fine and when generating the cloudflare token I assign all website domains that are part of the account but your plugin only allows me to enter one domain.

Yes it will allow you to enter one domain only. That’s why I asked you to install and setup the plugin in your main domain as if you are setting it up only for that domain. After that test and check what’s happening with the other domains. Let me know when you have implemented it and also share your website URL so that I can check it on my end.

I’m a little worried that if I install it, there will be issues in that, even if it works, the cache for the other languages wouldn’t be cleared when it needs to be. We’re using a WooCommerce website, so this would be critical. Further, the staging website is staging.domain.com and uses the same cloudflare “website”. I could set it up there so you can take a look, but I’m worried since it shares the same cloudflare “website” with the live site that it may cause issues?

Look, if you are using multiple domains in your website the plugin won’t be able to purge cache for all domain version. It will only purge cache automatically for the main domain. For the other domains you have to purge cache cache manually from your Cloudflare dashboard > going inside the zone of those domains.

Any plans to make this fully WPML compatible so that we could use multiple domains for our languages?

Unfortunately, no, as this plugin connects to Cloudflare which is zone/domain specific, so it needs to be per domain and cannot be done for multi domain.

but when you generate the api token from cloudflare, it allows you to assign all domains part of the account to the token. Also the cloudflare apo wordpress plugin is fully compatible with wpml, including multiple domains. It would mean paying for apo for each domain though..

Well, I can’t comment on APO, but as I said, the plugin needs to be setup each domain basis and it cannot automatically purge things across multi domain.
