Hello, Since updating to POST SMTP 3.8, I get this error message:

    Post SMTP Notice:

wp_mail() is being overridden by another plugin (WP HTML Mail – Email Template Designer). Please deactivate it to use Post SMTP.

This is occuring in about 30 websites i manage

Any idea why is occuring this?

    Thanks

    Hello @dviolante ,

Thank you for reaching out to our Support.

To ensure Post SMTP functions correctly, our latest update includes improved detection and compatibility checks for plugins that override wp_mail(). In your case, WP HTML Mail overrides wp_mail() at a core level, which triggers this notice, even if its email-related features are not actively enabled.

This notice is intended as a precautionary message, highlighting potential conflicts and outlining steps to follow should any issues arise. Our team is currently working on optimizing the notice content to provide clearer context and better guidance on the recommended next steps.

If you’re not experiencing any email delivery issues and everything is working as expected on your site, you can safely close this message.

Thank you for your understanding, and I apologize for not providing clearer context earlier. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or notice anything unexpected.
