While I’m also experiencing similar problems and slightly shocked that 3.0 has passed quality control, I think we’ll all benefit from explaining to Elementor so they can be solved. What problems exactly are you experiencing?
Updated a few sites, nothing but some fonts broke on one which has a pretty scuffed way of pulling the fonts. (AKA I have no idea how it’s pulling the fonts)
The problem is the new function Optimized DOM Output. You have to switch between ON and OFF after each change to the design. I hope it will be fixed quickly
Are you referring to the WP update (5.5) or a recent elementor update?
thanks, do you have a version number for clarity?
Just restore to the previous working version …. 2.9.14 via the Elementor> Tools option and then all your clients will be happy again.
Although why you updated multiple sites without testing might be something you need to look at in the future. None of my client’s sites were affected as I only updated mine and have now restored that to the previous version.
I rolled back to a previous version and got a 500 server error. Had the site on maintenance as I have my other job to do.
Now I cant edit the pages except in safe mode
Another site the header no longer works – cant edit it.
Templates are broken.
Site header and page header suddenly appearing
Mobile view went to 50%
Honestly so many issues on so many sites.
I just thank God that on my enterprise sites I have auto update hard turned off.
Really this method of testing by the user is poor.
.If you have issues within the editor you have to use the safe mode to rule out an issue with a third-party plugin:

.If you have layout issues following an update you have to check if the regenerate CSS tool helps to rule out an issue with your server cache, and you have to check if the problems are linked to your CSS print method:

.Sharing the URLs of your website will also help to narrow down the issue.
