  • I wouldn’t expect the current version of WooCommerce to work with an ancient version of WordPress. They will have diverged over time.

    WP v4.1.1 was published on 18 Feb 2015, see:
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/releases

    The version of WC at that time was 2.3.5 released 20 Feb 2015, You can get it here:
    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/releases?after=2.3.13

    It may now be difficult to find any documentation which applies to that version of WC. Any other plugins or themes which rely on or support WooCommerce will also have moved on and are unlikely to work with an old version.

    I hear you say you can’t update WordPress but really you need to find a way.

    What about setting up a new site just for selling, using a subdomain and loaded with current WP & WC, and just link to it from your current site.

    @tapasyaa,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    That said, I’d advise that you update your version of WordPress and any plugins you have installed and then install the most recent version of WooCommerce.

    If there’s a valid reason for staying with an older version of WordPress and WooCommerce (I can’t imagine what that would be as you’re leaving your whole setup vulnerable to all sorts of things) then @lorro has pointed out the version of WooCommerce most likely to work with the version of WordPress that you have.
