wordpress hosting and errors

    I currently host with HOSTPAPA.com and I am basically grandfathered in, so I get a lot of benefits being there. I actually get unlimited everything UNTIL there is a problem. Just yesterday after an update to the theme I am using (no proof to this yet) which I love and the theme maker has been contacted and chances are it will be fixed, but the second there is a problem on the server they send out what I think to be an automated email that says

    `Since you are on a shared hosting server, these issues affect not only the performance of your website but the overall stability of the entire server. Even though our shared servers are well optimized, the nature of the shared server is such that no matter how powerful or how well optimized the machine is, it is possible that one user consumes most of the server resources and overloads the machine. Thus all other accounts on the server stop responding and become inaccessible.

    I feel as though the second anything goes wrong they just want to get me to change my plan so I am off the grandfathered in plan.

    Basically the point of the message is to find the best hosting provider, with cpanel and decent pricing. I have heard good things about bluehost and some other, but I am asking the community to jump in here and give me some things to look at.

    Any and all information is appreciated. My website is pretty minimal. I use it to test out theme and just play around. There are only 4 posts and 3 pages not to mention no more then like 10 plugins. The site does not over utilize resources of any kind.
