    Hi,

This is why a theme documentation page exists: https://www.ilovewp.com/documentation/faith/

    Best regards,

Thanks for your response. Of course, I used the Theme Documentation. That’s why I was able to replicate the Home Page: Left Column and Home Page: Right Column. These two columns give clue because of the snippet texts of “Text: Welcome to Our Church and Recent Posts: Church News”. There is no clue or snippet texts concerning the widget controlling “A word from Our Pastor”. Please, tell me the widget controlling it. Is it the Main Sidebar that’s controlling it, the Side Header, Home Page: Right Column, Home Page: Left Column or the Footers’ widget. Also the widget for the line demarcation under Church News. Thanks for your good works.

    1. A Word from our pastor: Settings > Reading > Set the homepage to display a static page.

    2. Church News is created using a Recent Posts widget, as seen in the screenshot provided in the documentation page.

    Best regards,
    Dumitru B.

The homepage is already set to static page.

    So then what’s the issue?
I don’t see any problems on the website, it displays exactly what you set it up to display.

Please, I beg you in the name of whatever you believe in. Assist me to make “A Word from Our Pastor”. Add a dummy text and image. This project is not complete without it. I have tried it myself in the last 4 days without success. Below is my login:

I don’t think it’s a good idea to post your admin login details on a public forum. Anyone can do anything they want on your website now.

You have created a page called “Home” and set it as your homepage. Now the tagline says “Home” and has no content, because your page is blank.

Have you considered what would happen if you would rename your “Home” static page to something like “A Word from our Pastor”?
Have you considered what would happen if this page would have some content in it?

    Best regards,

Thanks. I have tried it. I want the title ‘A Word from our Pastor’ to stay as a title down there just like in the demo. I don’t want it to replace ‘Home’ in the navigation. That’s the problem now.

What does the menu have to do with it?
Remove the link to the page in the menu, there’s no need for it.
