Why HypeDB plugin is not under active development and updated on this official repository?

I found latest updated version 1.3 on trac https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/hyperdb/tags?order=name but why its not in the wordpress repository?

And as this is an official automatic plugin why this plugin is not under active development and update?

If you check the plugin’s development tab you can find links to the source repository and it does indeed look like it’s in active development.

Not a whole lot has changed, but they’ve updated the readme.txt to include support for WordPress 4.8.1: https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/1730766/hyperdb/trunk/readme.txt

@actionscripted Yes I noticed that and also mentioned in my topic body. but my concern is why its not updated in the wordpress repository?

Sorry about that! The latest version, 1.4 is now available for download at https://wordpress.org/plugins/hyperdb/

hello @barry thanks for updating the plugin to WordPress repository. As many of us use hyper db for production grade site. Its really important to keep updating this plugin and under continuous development also please keep updating to WordPress repository. As this plugin is backed by automatic we expect bit more than others.

@barry, unfortunately the plugin is not compatible with the latest 4.9.4 version of wordpress. Any plans to release an update soon?
