    That is because the plugin was developed far before OpenID Connect was a thing, and at that time it supported all current versions 🙂

    Long story short: It supports OpenID 1.1 and 2.0.

    But you are right, I will add that to the readme for the next version.

    sigh….

    Symantec just advised that they are shutting down their PIP 🙁

    Will you be moving this plugin to OpenID Connect? Have any suggestions as to who might be going to continue to offer Open ID 2?
