• Hello,
I have just been hired to clean up a site that someone else built. There are 39 plugins! I’m trying to pare it down. But for example, there are 3 different plugins to put up testimonials, 3 different visual builders, 4 different image optimizers, etc. And they’re all activated.

Is there any way to determine whether a plugin is actually being used by the website?

    Thanks,
    Mieren

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

Having said that, with that in mind YOU decide which plugin YOU need to activate!

Disable them all, then turn the back on one at a time. Unpleasant, but that’s the best way to find out what’s doing what when to whom.

Thanks for the feedback. Gonna go bludgeon myself on this site now. Wish me luck. 🙂
