When adding a new post category

    Hi, when I add a new post category it isn’t automatically checked in the notifications section so notifications aren’t sent for that category. My client keeps forgetting to check the category once they’ve added it. Would it be possible to add a setting to allow new categories to be auto checked?

    Hi @oliverhtml,

    The post category won’t get automatically added in the notification. You would need to manually add the same before publishing the post.
    If your client keeps forgetting to check the category, than put your post in draft, select the new category and then re-publish post. Notifications will be sent out.

    Would it be possible to add a setting to allow new categories to be auto checked?

    Nope. We’ll not be adding this feature.
