I have made changes to the writeNodes.php file, but I have not had a chance to fully test this code tonight. If you have time and the right skills to replace the contents of that script on your web site, here is the updated version:

the albums for which I modified the heading “genre” (I filled in 45T 33T CD …) do not appear. Is this normal?

I just added support for disc numbers in the plugin. Please update to version 1.6 and let me know if this works as expected for your collection.
I do not understand what you mean by items where you modified the genre not appearing. You just changed the music genre in iTunes? Can you perhaps send me your XML file so I can import and test with it?

You need to deactivate and reactivate the plugin to add a new field to the database, then delete all tracks in your database and re-import for tracks to display properly. Right now, tracks are not appearing because you are missing the disk ID field.
I am working on an updated version to be able to work without needing to re-import all of the data. That being said, if you want to see items displayed with disk ID information, you will need to re-import.
