When viewing content in visual edit mode (2 column format), the content exceeds the window width and can only be viewed by moving the bottom scrollbar. In other words, the text is not wrapping to fit the content.

How can we get back to having our text wrap within the window and avoid having a bottom scrollbar appear?

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not help, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
Troubleshooting with your browser. Your browser can also help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts and this article can assist you in doing that diagnosis. This could help identify Visual Editor issues as well.

    Thanks for responding

With all plugins deactivated, the problem remained.

With the Twenty Seventeen Theme, there was an abundance of room in the content window.

Per the authors of the current theme, Weaver 2 Pro is obsolete and no longer supported. So looks like it is time to upgrade to Weaver Xtreme.

    Thanks again.

And with the change in theme, the issue is resolved. Thanks again.
