Visual Builder not working

Visual Builder has not been working for some time.
I have done all the trouble shooting stuff, de-activated all other plugins and then tried, have Classic editor installed (hate Gutenberg anyway) but nothing.

I can’t add any new elements on a page. I can see VC on the page as usual, but when I click “add element” and click on the chosen one, nothing happens.

When I look at the source of the page, I see all kinds of stuff, but I can’t use VC to DO anything on the page.
