I have 3 tables on one page with the date and lessons. The current date shows when it is viewed and you can go forward to future dates, but not previous dates. I had the shortcode to filter_date = “future” and “filter_date_columns=”1”. There is no way to go backward to view previous dates if they missed a lesson. I removed the future date filter on the 3-4 Grade lessons table, but nothing changed. How can I use the future date filter and add the ability to scroll to earlier dates?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @whcc!

    Thanks for your question!

The “Row Filter by Date” Extension that you mention can only hide outdated/past dates (or of course future dates by changing the Shortcode parameter value). It does not allow keeping old entries on the page.

For that, I do however have a different Extension available, which however requires a TablePress premium license for the site. If that is of interest, please get in touch via the “Send us an email” button in the lower part of that page. (That upgrade would also allow you to again use a compatible version of the “Buttons” Extension that you are using or also row highlighting based on the date.)

Alternatively, you could maybe create another version of this page where you don’t use the “Row Filter by Date” Shortcode parameters, but instead show all table rows. Then, you could like to that page from the current page, sort of like a “History” page.

    Regards,
    Tobias
