    I’ve been using charitable for about 10 years. We only get a few donations a year so I haven’t switched to the Pro versions.

    I am currently on version 1.7.0.5. Is there a lite version newer one available? WordPress says it wants to update, but when I select update I get:

    You have not activated your license key.

    When I look at my Charitable General Settings it says:

    You’re using Charitable Lite – no license needed. Enjoy! 🙂

    So, will I be on 1.7.0.5 forever?

    @dlongneckercomcastnet Thanks for reaching out. Version 1.7.0.5 back in 2022 did have a bug related to updating. What I would recommend would be to manually update the plugin (and if you want to err on the side of caution do a backup first). There is a a newer version of lite. You can download the zip file and overwrite the current version by going to “Plugins” -> “Add Plugin” and uploading the zip file, which then WordPress should ask you if you want to override.
