Hello. I noticed today that my Woocommerce plugin installation has a lot of /vendor/opis/ files. I have a single store. I do not have a marketplace so why do I have those files? I am trying to lighten my website for better performance. May I delete all those files since they don’t apply to my store?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @melissaod,

Thank you for reaching out and for explaining the issue and your goal. To clarify, WooCommerce includes a vendor folder as part of its core directory, and deleting this folder will break WooCommerce functionality.

However, if you’re referring to a plugin folder named something like vendor/opis or similar, it may be safe to remove it, provided your website does not rely on that plugin.

To better understand which vendor files or folders you’re referring to, could you share a screenshot of where you’re seeing them? You can use snipboard.io, or if you prefer, you can share the screenshot via Google Drive.
