User generated content plugin

    Hi,

    I am looking for a plugin that will do the following:
    Allow a user to register to become a member so they can post info on the website.

    The info will be school closings so they would need to be able to check something – that they are closed/delayed, then post what type of closing delay they have…then add a date

    The info they post should show on a page that will contain all closings from other schools. To view that page you don’t need to be a member. This page should be available to anyone viewing the website.

    Is there anything out there that I can apply to the above?

    There are a number of plugins for front-end content collection, both free and paid. I’d use Formidable (pro version) to do this as I could handle the data collection and, if necessary, user registration in one place and use a couple of well-documented shortcodes to display the entries.
