UpdraftPlus_S3::putObject AuthorizationHeaderMalformed
-
Hello,
i wanted to add the s3 compatible storage as a backup location to Updraft but i get the Error:
S3-Compatible (Generic) Einstellungs Testergebnis: Fehler: Wir konnten den Bucket erfolgreich nutzen, aber der Versuch eine Datei in ihm zu erstellen schlug fehl. Bitte überprüfe deine Zugangsdaten. (UpdraftPlus_S3::putObject(): [AuthorizationHeaderMalformed] Authorization header malformed, unexpected scope: 20260317/us-east-1/s3/aws4_request)I found the issues: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/updraftplus-s3-generic-authorization-header-is-malformed/ and https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-region-is-wrong-when-connecting-to-s3-compatible-minio-server/.
As both of these issue i am using a different region name for my storage than us-east-1. I am selfhosting the s3 compatible storage solution garage https://garagehq.deuxfleurs.fr/ as minio is “dead”. As too many services now depend on my current bucketlocation (de-sa-03) i am not able to rename the location. Updraft is the only incompatible service using my s3 location. That’s why i am guessing that Updraft is somehow setting the region incorrectly? Maybe a optional location field is possible?
I am using WordPress 6.9.4 and Updraft 1.26.2 and Garage v2.2.0.
Is there any logs or further information i can provide to resolve this issue?
Thanks,
smilebasti
