UpdraftPlus running multiple backups #again

    So after a few months of working fine, the daily backup has started repeating again today (Monday 20 April). Nothing has been changed on our side, and yet we have muliple emails arriving – 2-3 a minute – all confirming that the backup is fine.

    I’ll take the same grabs as before and post them here:

    We have no other Databases present at this time …

    Can you try removing any schedules manually from the DB?

    To remove the extra backup schedules:

    1. In your hosting Site Tools->Site->MySQL->phpMyAdmin, open your database
    2. Search the database for any table named ‘wp_options’ (please use the table prefix that you have if it is different from the default wp_)
    3. In each table, select ‘Search’ and enter the following: 
    4. Column name: ‘option_name’ 
    5. Operator: ‘LIKE %…%’ 
    6. Value: ‘updraft’
    7. This will bring up all UpdraftPlus options in the table. Delete these rows
    8. In the same table, Search for a row with option_name = ‘cron’. Delete this row
