Unsubscribing

Am I missing something or is there no mechanism for commenters to unsubscribe after having subscribed? From what I’m seeing, the only way to do that would be for the commenter to try and contact the site owner and ask to have their email address deleted from the comment or the comment deleted.

I think in order to be compliant with the various privacy laws it’s necessary to offer commenters such a feature so they don’t end up on a potentially unwanted email chain for all eternity every time someone responds to their comment.
