Hello, I closed my site where the “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” plugin was installed, I don’t remember if this plugin required an email account registration to work, I would like to delete it, how can I do it? Thanks in advance.

    Hello @userweb

    Thank you for reaching out.

The WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin does require a PayPal account to be connected during setup in order to function correctly.

If you’d like to remove the plugin, you can do it in one of the following ways:
    – If you still have access to your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins, locate WooCommerce PayPal Payments, and click Deactivate, then Delete.
    – If you no longer have access to your WordPress site, you can connect via FTP and manually delete the woocommerce-paypal-payments folder located in wp-content/plugins/.

In addition, if you want to remove any PayPal connection that may have been created during setup, you can visit the following page and delete any connected apps:
    https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications/

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

Hi, thanks for your help, the site is closed, it is no longer online, so apart from the connection with the PayPal account, the plugin did not require registration of an email account to work? Thanks.

    Hello @userweb

PayPal Payments plugin does not require a separate email account registration to work. It only connects directly to your PayPal account during the onboarding process. Once connected, you don’t need to add more email registration within the plugin. So even if the site is no longer online, there’s no extra email account tied to the plugin beyond what was used to log into PayPal during setup.

Hope that answers your question. When in doubt, let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
