Unlink error

    I am getting this error on my Wordfence dashboard:

    Warning: unlink(C:\WINDOWS\Temp\wfs7C3F.tmp) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in E:\Webspace\OKYR\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfConfig.php on line 420 0

    My hosting provider does not give me access to that directory. How can I clear the error?

    Hi John,
    I would suggest checking with your web host the possibility of changing TEMP and TMP variables in the system variables to another writable directory, I’m pretty sure this can be changed on Windows servers.

    P.S. currently we do not recommend using Wordfence on Windows/IIS as mentioned in the plugin’s system requirements.
