Unknown access key

Hello,
after about 6 years I probably want to use CleanTalk again, so I created a new account at the website, installed the plugin again (which had all the old data still available) and put in the new access key. But now the plugin keeps saying that the access key is unknown. I even changed the key in the CleanTalk dashboard but same error with new key.
This is what I get: SERVER_ERROR NO: 6 MSG: Unknown access key, check if the key is correctThe key I entered is correct, copied from the dashboard.
Any help ?
