Hello Support … I have a general question and have tried hard to find the answer but hoping you can point me in the right direction.

I use Everest for all my forms and all working as they should and users receive a confirmation email as does the site admin team.

My question … I am puzzling how the emails are actually sent and where I can actually see them. I can see the Entries log and again that works great and I download as a csv file and check .. great feature.

Are emails sent via SMTP (I have it installed) or through the actual Admin email eg Gmail etc.

Any pointers appreciated as just trying to understand how it all works and ideally see where they are sent from?

    Hi @alexanderweb,

By default, the WordPress uses PHP mail function to process emails. However, if you are using a SMTP plugin, then the emails are sent using any one of the mailer services provided by that plugin. For further details, please contact the SMPT plugin team.
    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!
