Thanks for your message and apologies for delay in responding. It sounds as though you have the plugin’s option set to ‘scramble’ the user’s password on banning a user. If you go to the plugin’s settings page you can turn that option off. Can you please check and otherwise let me know and ill be happy to investigate further for you.

Anyway, if you are referring to the Ban& Unban Options (category)? Those NEW features?
There’s only one work said Scramble? It is (unchecked) Scramble banned user’s password when banned.

There are only 3 that is checked.
(checked) If already logged in when banned, force logout.
(checked) Enable email notifications when banning or unbanning users
(checked) Include option for custom message in email, and option to set ban duration when banning a user (i.e. date picker, day, week, month etc..)
Any other solution might be causing it?

Hi, thanks for your reply. It sounds as though their may be a bug, or a compatibility issue of some sorts. I’m going to test the plugin today to make sure it’s working fine for me and will be in touch to investigate further. I assume you’re using the latest version of the plugin 1.5.3?

Yes, I am using the latest 1.5.3
And I used the same test user for months (same password). That happened after I unbanned it.
