Translate email

Hello
If you want to change the text in emails then you can use email templates. But I suppose you want to change “room” to “date” everywhere. This plugin unfortunately does not offer this option out of the box. But you can use some other plugin that can change “room” to “date”.

Yes translation plugins should do the trick. I have not tried myself but there is also “Say what?” plugin that allows to change translatable strings from plugins.
