Title Not Showing on Posts Page

    Hi, I am using the Harmonic Theme and have my posts on a separate posts page (I have static front page selected). The title of my posts page is ‘Blog,’ but by default, only the posts show up on this page, the title ‘Blog’ does not show up (i want the title to show up like it does on all my other pages). I understand that to change this I need to do some PHP coding, and that’s fine, but i’m super new to this and need some help getting started.

    I have successfully set up a child theme and uploaded it to my site, but all the tutorials I’ve found regarding this title issue lacked clear explanation for a complete newbie, so I have not been able to make it work. I emailed the happiness engineers for help and they sent me over here to ask you guys/gals.

    Also, my end goal is to have that title ‘Blog’ so up in my primary menu, as it is now, but on the actual posts page I want the title to be ‘Thinking in the 21st Century’. From my understanding I can do this via php code or a plugin, and from what i gather, the php coding route is the better, albeit more difficult, route to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Dan,

    You can paste this code into your child theme’s Main Index Template (index.php) file:

    <header class="entry-header">
	<h1 class="entry-title">Thinking in the 21st Century</h1>
</header>

    You might try adding it right below this line:

    <main id="main" class="site-main" role="main">
