    Hi there
I installed your plug-in a couple of months ago and migrated from Yoast. I had an issue at the time where my site title was displaying twice in Post SEO settings so had to go through and amend for every post. At the same time, I updated the meta descriptions.
Today, I realised that a number of older posts, written prior to the installation of the SEO plugin, had somehow reverted back to old titles (completed different from the current H1 title) and meta descriptions, some from when I first started blogging. I know these were updated when I installed the plugin.
I recognise that because I can’t pinpoint when this happened, it will be difficult to troubleshoot, but wondered if there had been any known bugs or glitches recently that could account for this? It’s taken me the best part of a day to put everything back to how it was! The plug in is up to date, as is WP.
    Thanks

    Hello!

If my memory serves me well, you’re the first to report data issues about TSF’s standard metadata.

TSF does share some SEO metadata with the Genesis theme. If you’ve used that theme in the past, it’d explain why the data may be surprising.

Another explanation might be related to a database search+replace/cleanup/optimization tool altering data in unforeseen ways.

I hope this sheds at least some light on the issue and deducts some plausibilities. Do let me know if you find something more noteworthy; maybe that’d give me a eureka moment.
